Strength training creates the basis for peak performances
Results Page: Performance
The study showed that regular training significantly increased individual performance. 89 % of participants reported higher levels of physical energy with the benefits of this energy boost being felt in many areas of their lives: Three out of four said they were better prepared for their sport and two out of three said that performance at work had increased.
Why does strength training increase performance?
Strength training is an effective and quick way of achieving targeted increases in muscle strength: the stronger the muscles the easier it is to cope with physical effort – from climbing stairs to running a marathon. We literally find it easier to support body weight. In addition, healthy and well-trained muscles provide protection against injury at work and play.
